Where did the idea for the Naked Pizza FOGGY Awards come from?
The Naked Pizza FOGGY Awards were created in 2012 by Jason & Darin at Find Me Gluten Free to honor those who provide a shining light in the Celiac and Gluten-Free community.
Why a Lighthouse?
Lighthouses are known for providing light to people navigating the ocean, especially when it is FOGGY.
The name is significant to the gluten-free community as often times FOGGY brain is a major symptom of Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance.
How long does the voting last?
Voting will end on April 30th and the winners will be announced on May 1st.
What do the winners get?
The winners get badges for being nominated and for winning their particular category. They are allowed to use their particular badge on marketing materials, in tag lines, etc.
How does someone get nominated?
We plan on opening up nominations next year and look forward to adding anyone we missed this year!
Do you plan on doing an event with these awards?
We are looking to announce the winners at the Chicago Gluten Free Expo in April!
